There is only one brand that surpasses the reliability of a BMW and here it is the NIMBUS from Denenmarken.
Nimbus was founded by the teacher Peder Andersen Fisker who started a factory in electric motors in 1905. Together with his companion Nielsen he made the Nilfisk vacuum cleaners from 1910. Reportedly he saw a parked motorcycle (probably a Belgian FN) of which he immediately saw that the construction could be improved. He then decided to produce motorcycles himself. The first production period of the motorcycle developed by Peder Andersen Fisker ran from 1919 to 1928. The second production period started at the initiative of Fiskers son Anders in 1934 and ended in 1959.
As a first, Nimbus brought the telescope suspension on the front fork in the market, BMW came here a few weeks later.
